Each year, Boomerang Cares hosts three unforgettable fundraising events that bring our community together in big, bold ways. These aren’t just fun nights out—they’re the heart of how we raise support for local families.

This Year Golf, Is Our Gala!

Help Us Reach Our Goal of $30,000. 

Over the years, we’ve cherished hosting our Toy Drive Gala and witnessing the incredible impact it’s had for Boomerang Cares. But as the event grew, we realized it was pulling us away from what matters most during the holidays, time with our own families. That’s why we are reimagining the gala as a future “Christmas in July” celebration, giving us space to serve families through our holiday programs while still treasuring that season at home.

This year, the Boomerang Backswing Golf Tournament will take the gala’s place as our biggest fundraiser, with a goal of raising $30,000 to provide toys, holiday meals, and essential support for local families. We’re also inviting every golfer and guest to bring a new, unwrapped toy for our Annual Toy Drive—helping us bring smiles, joy, and holiday hope to children across Collin County. Every swing, sponsorship, toy, and donation will keep the spirit of the gala alive and ensure families feel the love of our community.

Whether you’re helping run a game at a fundraiser, checking in guests at a gala, or packing supplies for a family in crisis, your time and energy create real impact. We’re always looking for caring people to join us at events, including students who need volunteer hours for school or service programs.
