At Boomerang Cares, we don’t just step in during a crisis—we walk alongside students all year long, in close partnership with local ISDs and school counselors across Collin County.

Each school year begins with heartfelt conversations between our team and dedicated school counselors. They know their students best—and they help us identify those who could benefit most from encouragement, resources, or simply someone in their corner.
Together, we build a support plan tailored to each student’s journey.
Support That Stays With Them
From urgent needs like food, school supplies, or transportation to joyful moments like attending an athletic camp or graduation essentials, we respond with compassion and care—removing barriers so students can focus on being students.
Every year, we also proudly award scholarships to graduating seniors, helping them take that next bold step with confidence and hope through McKinney Education Foundation and other trusted partners.
But we don’t stop there.
Preparing For What's Next
As students approach graduation, we shift from crisis care to confidence-building, equipping them with life lessons that help bridge the gap between high school and adulthood.
We help them with things like mock interviews to build confidence and communication, interview dress shopping to ensure they show up ready and proud or resume building workshops to highlight their strengths and tell their story
Every interaction is about more than support—it’s about empowerment.
